A representative event in the muon channel in the merged signal region where the three body invariant mass is found to be m(mu,mu,j) = 2.9 TeV. It should be noted that the leading jet in this event, shown as the larger cone, was reconstructed in the end cap of the hadronic calorimeter and therefore the energy deposits are not visible in the top left (x, y) view but can be seen in the bottom left and middle right views.
