The LeadGlassCalorimeter is a detector that measures the energy of particles by fully absorbing them and measuring the light produced in the interaction. They are composed of a Leaded glass block coupled to a PhotoMultiplierTube. The absorber presents 24.6 radiation lengths to particles travelling head on through the block.
