Reliability test

Make a sandwich with webcam between two TimePix. When the TimePix has hits from the beam ,the track of the hits are reconstructed and afterwards hits on the webcam will be checked to see if hits are compatible with Timepix.

What is the dimensions of the camera with the Peltier cooler.  
Which power supply does the cooler have?  
Do we really need cooler?  
Which Linux release and kernel version are the team using?  
Two Timepix and the Webcam will be combined into one solid block and moved that block with respect to the beam. A holder must be designed for the camera and TimePix PCBs. To be Discussed

Program of the experiment

  • The camera will be installed in T9 experimental area.
  • Camera will be moved carefully with respect to the beam.
  • CCD and TimePix images will be compared.
