User Job Steering

This section describes the constants offered to user for easy steering of the PAT tuple creation.

The descriptions are given regardless of the appearance of the parameters in single example configurations. Not all described constants are available resp. usable in every configuration.

Data or MC?

Configuration Parameter Constants

  • runOnMC ( boolean ):
    general switch to run the configuration on:
    • True: real data input;
    • False: MC input.

Standard or/and PF2PAT Work Flow

Configuration Parameter Constants

  • useStandardPAT ( boolean ):
    general switch to run the standard PAT configuration without particle flow.

  • runPF2PAT ( boolean ):
    general switch to run PAT with particle flow input.

Remarks

TIP If both work flows are run in parallel, the constant postfix has to be defined as a non-empty string in order to identify the output from the PF2PAT work flow. It is recommended to have postfix being defined as non-empty string in all cases.
