The branching fractions of the pseudoscalar boson to SM particles are computed following the prescriptions in D. Curtin et al., “Exotic decays of the 125 GeV Higgs boson”, Phys. Rev. D 90 (2014) 075004, doi:10.1103/PhysRevD.90.075004, arXiv:1312.4992.

Introduction

This page contains summary plots for the Higgs Physics Analysis Group for a variety of interpretations of the CMS data. The plots shown here present the result of either the combination or the superposition in a given theory parameter space of different analysis results performed within the Higgs group.

ttH combination for Moriond 2016

Combined run-I $\sigma(gg \to X) \times B(X \to HH)$ 95% CL upper limits assuming spin-0 hypothesis

Combined_HH_plot_RunI_CMS_spin0.png pdf, png Observed and expected 95% CL upper limits on the product of cross section and the branching fraction $\sigma(gg \to X) \times B(X \to HH)$ obtained by different analyses assuming spin-0 hypothesis. Theory lines corresponding to warped extra dimension models with radion are also shown.

2HDM+Singlet

This model is an extension of the Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) with an additional EWK scalar singlet. The Next-To-Minimal-Supersymmetric-Standard-Model (NMSSM) is a particular case of 2HDM+S type-2.

Results for Moriond 2016

Figure Description
plotType1_BRmu.png pdf, png Observed 95% CL exclusion limits on $\frac{\sigma(h)}{\sigma_{SM}} \times \mathcal{B}(h\rightarrow aa) \times \mathcal{B}(a\rightarrow\mu\mu)^2 $ within the contest of the 2HDM+S model, performed with data collected at 8 TeV with the CMS detector, assuming that the branching fractions of the pseudoscalar boson to muons and to $\tau$ leptons follows the relationship $\frac{\Gamma(a\rightarrow\mu\mu)}{\Gamma(a\rightarrow\tau\tau)} = \frac{m_{\mu}^{2}\sqrt{1-(2m_{\mu}/m_{a})^2 } }{m_{\tau}^{2}\sqrt{1-(2m_{\tau}/m_{a})^2 } }$. The ratio of the branching fractions of the pseudoscalar boson to muons and b quarks does not depend on $\tan\beta$ in type-1 and in type-2.

The branching fractions of the pseudoscalar boson to SM particles are computed following the prescriptions in D. Curtin et al., “Exotic decays of the 125 GeV Higgs boson”, Phys. Rev. D 90 (2014) 075004, doi:10.1103/PhysRevD.90.075004, arXiv:1312.4992. The branching fractions of the light pseudoscalar a boson to SM particles do not depend on $\tan\beta$ in type-1.

The branching fractions of the pseudoscalar boson to SM particles are computed following the prescriptions in D. Curtin et al., “Exotic decays of the 125 GeV Higgs boson”, Phys. Rev. D 90 (2014) 075004, doi:10.1103/PhysRevD.90.075004, arXiv:1312.4992. The equivalent plot in type-4 is also available ( pdf, png).
