Options file

An options file (so-called for historical reasons) is a Python file designed to be run using LHCb software. It is essentially a small script detailing what you want to happen. Option files call in other LHCb software via the import function in Python.

ganga
Once Ganga is set up, one only needs to type ganga to start the interpreter. Ganga can also be run in batch mode by typing:
ganga script.py
or by invoking Ganga as an environment variable with the usual #!/usr/bin/env ganga.
