Round Table

Marco Cl.

Line: 49 to 43

    • the switch requires 2-3 days of instability (we could run with a mixed system to preserve lhcb-prerelease)
    • there will be a way to download and install the builds locally; this can change what we keep on AFS

Ben

  • IT said that we cannot have the CVMFS volume for the development (i.e. debug builds)
    • we should start installing the debug builds on the regular CVMFS
    • for the nightlies we need our own CVMFS server (in a vobox, as ATLAS) and it might be used for Jenkins too
    • what do we do with ICC?
we can remove it from the "release platforms" (and from lhcb-prerelease)

Marco Ca.

  • Should we wait for LCGCMT/Gaudi?
no, we should check the status of LCG once we are ready for LHCb

Rob

  • HLT workshop: will be testing the software
  • CMake configurations will be probably screwed up in the next releases (because of lack of training/documentation)
Marco Cl.: I'm fixing them when I can, but I need to prepare tools and documentation (after the commissioning of the new nightlies system)
  • We need to foresee training sessions on JIRA, Jenkins, and CMake
