AFS and NICE accounts are seperate and so NICE accounts can not be used at present.

Why cant I use my NICE account to login to TWiki?

Answer:

When TWiki was first introduced at CERN AFS authentication was a requirement.

AFS and NICE accounts are seperate and so NICE accounts can not be used at present.

Furture authentication methods are currently being discussed.
