Shutdown
Hadron beam. Initially we start with the corrected
2007
version of the optics, beam has served for CEDAR tuning (by BI) and will in the coming weeks be fine tuned for COMPASS (parallellism at CEDAR, fine steering, etcetera). For the moment the beam is parallel at the CEDAR, correctly focused at COMPASS and approximately steered. Steering coefficients are available
here
. The horizontal reference positions are +2.5 mm in MWPC19, channels 46 in
SciFi1 and 5, 88 in
SciFi8.
After that an attempt will be made to set up the

optics.
The present state of tuning and shutdown changes are documented
here
.
T6 target head: under COMPASS control, head 4 for nominal hadron flux for the moment (6-7 10'^6^' ppp).\Nominal flux on T6: 70 10'^11^' ppp (for the moment, long flat top).\Absorbers: all OUT.
