SixTrack for Collimation Studies

Short description

This is a specific version of the SixTrack code, dedicated to cleaning studies. With respect to the standard code, it contains a scattering engine which describes the scattering of beam particles in collimators. It also comes with a series of post-processing tools, aimed at comparing particle tracks and machine aperture, to estimate the losses in the ring.

Web resources

The source code come together with the main SixTrack version; the executable of SixTrack for collimation studies is obtained specifying a particular flag at compilation.

All the post-processing tools are part of an SVN repo, containing also input files for reference scenarios and other tools related to operation.
