In early 2020, when ASP2020 was canceled because the COVID-19 pandemic, the ASP IOC made a call to ASP alumni to study COVID-19 data of their countries. The work has concluded with 2 papers:

A model of COVID-19 pandemic evolution in African countries

A longer paper published in Scientific African, where we looked at one year of COVID-19 data of 10 African countries
