Mohamed Chabab

Chabab-pic.png born in Casablanca-Morocco, has obtained his PhD degree in 1992 from Montpellier University in the field of theoretical high energy physics. From 1992 to 1996, he was awarded several research fellowships in Montpellier and Trieste as postdoctoral researcher, then he joined Triploli University in Libya and assistant professor. He is currently full professor of physics and Director of High Energy and Astrophysics Laboratory at Cadi-Ayyad University in Marrakech. His main fields of interest are Higgs physics beyond the Standard Models, thermodynamic criticality of black holes and neutrino physics. He is the team leader of the Marrakech group within KM3NeT and ANTARES collaborations and Expert affiliated to National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRST) in Morocco. He was nominated in 2018 as associate editor of Frontiers in Physics (high energy and astroparticle physics section). Prof. Chabab is author and co-author of more than 109 papers with h_index = 21. He has supervised about 30 Master and 13 Ph.D theses.
