Start a run from DCA

Temporary instructions on re-starting a run in case of DAQ failure for the cosmic coincidence run (28/05/2008)

If the detector DCS status stays READY one needs to restart the run after resetting the front end readout electronics:

• Stop the CTP emulator from the CTP emulator panel, click Quit emulation
  • CTP emulator window is opened from the ltu client (Trigger control) window
• Stop the data acquisition (if not already stopped by itself) by clicking on Stop in the DAQ - Run Control window
• Reset the readout electronics
  • In the Detector Control system right click on spdFEE electronics in the hierarchy on the left side
  • Click on Autoconfig Routers
  • Click on Reset DPI for all
  • Reset the DPM for each router
• Go back to the LTU control panel, click on configuration and select ttcFEEreset
• Start again the data acquisition run in the DAQ - Run Control
  • Click Start processes, wait for LDCs states to reach RUNNING and then click the Start button
• Start the CTP emulation on the CTP emulator control by clicking on Start emulation
