The format to provide the data

For the job processing activities each line should have the following format: 9 fields comma separated. For example:

The meaning of each field is the following:

1 name of the site (in this case CERN)

2 name of the activity (here, job_processing)

3 name of the metric relative to this activity (here, parallel_jobs)

4 the actual value measured for this metric (11)

5 the pledged value of the metric, if available (here -1, it means it is not available)

6 the status, if available. We will talk later about this, because I know that for some experiments this is not clearly defined. Anyway, for the time being you can write 'unknown' if you don't have a defined value.

7 the start time of the measurement

8 the end time of the measurement

9 the URL where to get more information about this metric. There will be a link to this URL in the gridmap, so the user can reach the source of the information about the metric.

Any other metric relative to the same activity, will be provided in a separated line. For example, concerning the 'job_processing' activity let's suppose we want to monitor 'completed_jobs' and 'parallel_jobs'. Then we'll have 2 separated rows:

A row with information about data transfer activity, will have one more field, as we need to give the source and also the destination site. For example:

Here the first field is the source site, and the second the destination. The other fields have the same meaning explained before for the job processing activity.
