• Made contributions to the project for more than 6 months
• Made contributions within the last 12 months
• Have a broad overview of the project and be able to defend it in public

Contributions which in general do not qualify for the author list:

• Management of staff and/or funding involved in the project.
• Work on external Ganga modules (Bookkeeping, DQ2, PyQT, Repository server, etc).

Deviations from the above policy will be considered on a case by case basis.

Before a paper or abstract is submitted the author list will be made public and a (short) chance given to object.
