Introduction

Primo 2006 the NorduGrid middleware Advanced Resource Connector ARC is installed on about 60 sites inlcluding about 6000 cpus ( www.nordugrid.org). About 15 clusters with about 1000 cpus have ATLAS runtime environments installed. See www.nordugrid.org/monitor/atlas.

Access to datasets and files

• The files and datasets are registered in the DDM catalogs.
• To see the sets and files with the DQ2 client do "dq2 listDatasetsInSite http://cpt.uio.no:8000/dq2/". The sets can also be listed with dq2_ls.
• Datasets can be downloaded with dq2_get.

Distributed Analysis DA on NorduGrid

Everyone is welcome to do her analysis on ARC connected sites. However, the sites must have you authorized. Only few sites with ARC have all ATLAS VO members authorized. The client you need is a well documented 11 MB standalone with an one line setup. Visit the Atlas.NorduGrid site for download etc.
