The Epert DB panel , is a panel made for the connection of the project to the configuration DB. This panel downloads vital information for the project that is stored in the ATONR database. Such information might be

- Number of Mezzanine cards of the chamber

- Mezzanine cards reported as defected

- Name of the canbus node the chamber belongs to , and the sewuence of chambers in the canbus node

- Mapping of the mezzanine cards , as one can see them from the read out side.

This panel is made to be used in the first initial setup of the project. When the project is set up and working this panel is not used any more. Moreover, if the project is exported correctly under ATLAS DCS procedure, this panel does not need to be used anymore beause the information it donlads already exists in the exported datapoints. On the contrary in case any big change appears in one of these informations stored in the Configuration DB (e.g. node names) , then the panel can be used and it will overwrite old information.
