This page lists the public plots illustrating energy deposition in Tile Calorimeter cells.
Average Sum Transverse Energy ($\Sum{E_T}$) of TileCal cell as a function of eta in collision candidate events at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV. Only cells with transverse energy above 500 MeV at the EM scale are considered. Non-diffractive minimum bias Monte Carlo events with the same energy cut are superimposed with the collision candidate events. Distributions of the energy deposited in the TileCal cells from collision data at √s = 13 and 0.9 TeV superimposed with Pythia minimum bias Monte Carlo and randomly triggered events from filled and empty bunch crossings. A Level 1 minimum bias trigger scintillator (MBTS) trigger is required for the 13 TeV data. To ensure exactly one interaction has occurred per bunch crossing, only events having a single reconstructed primary vertex are selected. Each distribution is normalized to unit area.

The energy measured in cells from the three TileCal radial samples and TileCal E cells (Gap+Crack scintillators) is used. The red bands for $\eta>1.2$ refer to the TileCal special E cells response. In this region and for positive $\eta$ the blue bins are the response for A cells for extended barrel modules EBA40 and EBA63 where the readout channels of E cells are masked.
