StandardModelPublicCollisionPlots

Introduction

In this page, the most recent approved plots from Standard Model analyses for the newest available integrated luminosity are collected. The plots do not show unfolded and fully corrected distributions, but provide observables at detector level, compared to predictions of full Monte Carlo simulation.

Jet production

Jet PT spectrum with MC
Jet PT spectrum with MC Observed inclusive jet PT distribution (black dots) for jets with PT(jet) > 160 GeV and |y(jet) | < 2.8 compared to PYTHIA Monte Carlo prediction (yellow histogram). The distribution is normalized to unity and only statistical uncertainties are included.

Jet Multiplicity in W Events
Jets produced in association with W→lν, where l is an electron or muon. The jet algorithm used is Anti-kT with R=0.4 and the jets are selected with |eta|<2.8 and pT>20 GeV. The MC is normalized to the inclusive data sample.
