Latest Updates

  • 16-09-2011 : XML locations added for 2011 data and MC10b.
  • 04-05-2011 : 2011 data added and MC10a samples done with dimu skim.
  • 01-05-2011 : MC10a samples done with mu skims. New triggermatching function now in.
  • 24-1-2011: Hide rel 15 samples & add details about rel 16 (autumn reprocessing) samples
  • Novemner 24: Update Muon MC list - no filter samples and first pileup samples
  • November 11: Electron skim is now up to date up till the end of period I
  • November 5: Electron data periodF ran in TopPhys15.6.13.3.2 with fix in TriggerMatching code.
  • November 4: ttbar MC ElectronSkim has TriggerMatching
  • November 3: Electron+muon A-H with correct triggers. No problem now with nevents processed. Period E electron data now ran from AODs.
  • November 1: NOTE Electron A-E + Muon G6-H2 do not have necessary triggers. Look here. ManTeeMaker has been updated with correct triggers here.
  • November 1: Muon skim added upto period H2(still missing 3 files, but coming shortly) with latest grls.
  • October 28: Electron Skim now includes up to H2. Period G data now contains e15_medium && e20_loose. All data + MC have trigger matching. 1 file from period F missing events compared to AOD, as well as period B and period D shown [https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/AtlasSandbox/ElectronSkimFiles?rev=7][here]]. Looking into.
  • October 11: Electron Skim contains data up to G5. Missing triggers for period G data. G has Trigger matching, A-F does not have trigger matching.
  • October 11: Electron Skim contains data up to F2. No Tigger matching Info, period F have too few events by~1%due to problematic Top D2PDs

Notes

  • November 3: Run 166925 has 0 events after cuts. Events Processed in run 162882 does not match AOD (have ran several times).

2011 Data and MC10b Samples

All xmls for data and MC samples are now held in a common location. The XMLs follow the naming convention used previously.

For MC the format is ....xml where the run number is a number defined by the MC group, the production tags are the ami tags used of the form r###_r###, the skim is the skim that was run over the sample (El, Mu, DiEl, DiMu or NF) and info is a optional tag to describe something unique to the MC (for example and extended sample).

For Data the format is /....xml where data period is the period defined by ATLAS,the production tags are the ami tags used of the form r###_r###, skim is the skim that was run on the data, and info is an optional tag to describe something unique about the data (for example REPO for reprocessing).

2011 Early Data & MC

Muon Stream

  • Using TopPhys,16.6.3.5.1.
  • Single Muon Skim, pT>15GeV on Muid Muons.
  • DiMuon Skim , 2 Muid Muons , pT > 10 GeV.

DiMuon Skim xmls can be found at /afs/hep.man.ac.uk/d/atlas-mantrees_3/data/dataDiMu_xmls/ SIngle muon files are all at /afs/hep.man.ac.uk/d/atlas-mantrees/ but no xmls are currently made GRL for data upto run 180242 data11_7TeV.periodAllYear_DetStatus-v11-pro08-01_Top_allchannels.xml is in topSel/GRL on manchester svn.

Acceptance Challenge file

The file with the ttbar events for the top group May 2011 acceptance challenge is at:

Files with events from the JetTauEtmiss stream are stored in the following location:

Electron Skim

The Effective Luminosities have to be filled in in the config XML file for normalisation. Except for multiple parton samples( i.e Z+jets, W+jets,Wbb+jets etc) where this has to be placed in the singlefile xmls listed above with the lines starting <!ENTITY ....
