Supplies

For standard tubing, we use 6mm Polyurethane tubing (CERN stores link). For coupling, there are SWAGELOK (CERN stores link) and LEGRIS (stores link) fittings.

We have some flow meters with Legris M10x1mm threads.

DWC Gas supplies

The T9 XDWC is supplied from a distribution board behind the beam control room, on the first floor. It is equipped with a gas alarm that disables High Voltage if no gas is present. The Alarm can be reset through the CASTOR control PCs.

A separate gas line runs into the T9 zone, next to the fixed XDWC. This supply is fed from a separate flow meter on the same gas panel as the above. It is terminated in a female SERTO connector. We loaned the mating connector from Philippe Carriere. User_DWC_Gas_connection.jpg
