Quantum Efficiency

PhotoMultiplierTube sensitivity is often expressed as Radiant Sensitivity ($S_{k} [\mathrm{mA}/\mathrm{W}]$). The quantum efficiency is given by

where $e$ is the elementary charge and $E_{\gamma}$ is the photon energy. Like $S_{k}$, $E_{\gamma}$ is a function of wavelength.
