LDA Firmware

Here is the latest source files to program FPGA on LDA.

  • Some informations before programming:

The FPGA are XILINX FPGA

There are 3 FPGA on LDA :

  • Main , usually the only one to be changed
  • HDMI
  • and StartUp. (only for experts!!!)

On DAQ chassis, there are 3 groups of 3 cables with connectors, each group have a label (main, hdmi, startup) To program a FPGA, you must use a XILINX USB platform cable with IMPACT software, you do not need license, IMPACT is free. The files provided here are the MCS files for the XILINX Prom and the BIT file for the FPGA. With IMPACT you initialize the chain who identifie the components, here 2 proms and 1 FGPA.
