ODR Show Status User Guide

ShowStatus is a small program used to continuously display the contents of an ODR register. It reads the ODR registers via the cal1 driver. It will not disrupt the operation of the normal caldata driver except by using a small fraction of the bus bandwidth.

ShowStatus can be run with or without parameters. If run without parameters it will prompt for card, function and channel. If run with parameters it can have 1, 2 or 3 .

They should be ShowStatus [function] [channel] [card] If channel or/and card are omitted they will default to 0. As many instances of ShowStatus can be run at once without causing problems with the operation of the ODR or its driver.

ShowStatus uses some low level escape sequences of the vt100 or xterm terminals so should be run in one of these.
