source /nfs/sw/rce/setup.sh
rce_talk CERN-1 start_gui #where 1 means COB 1

edit Coldbox/user_run_options.fcl and set

daq.fragment_receiver.rce_feb_emulation_mode: true

Recovery after Power Outage (for COB8 only)

COB8 has a loose switch handle. It needs special care after power outage.

source /nfs/sw/rce/setup.sh
rce_talk SM-CERN close_switch_cob 14
rce_talk SM-CERN close_switch_rtm 14

Wait about 1 minute until the blue light on the COB8's front panel is gone or COB8 RCEs are ping-able.
