CASTOR Space

• The LCD group space can be found at

  /castor/cern.ch/clicdet/

• On a local host, the port range 30000-30100 has to be opened in the firewall.
• The castor client packages have to be installed.
• A guide for CASTOR can be found here.
• Your $STAGE_SVCCLASS should point to ilcdata:

for (t)csh shells: setenv STAGE_SVCCLASS ilcdata

for bash: export STAGE_SVCCLASS=ilcdata

export STAGE_HOST=castorpublic

GRID Space

• Read the manual!
  • Follow the steps to register in the ILC Virtual Organization as well as in the DIRAC system
  • Make sure to have a ILCDIRAC client (for now only from lxplus on the LCD AFS space)
• A file catalog to browse the available files is included in ILCDIRAC

  dirac-dms-filecatalog-cli -f DiracFC

  • General files like generator files, simulation and reconstruction output can be found under

    /ilc/prod/clic/

  • Private job output as well as private files should be stored under

    /ilc/user/<first letter of account>/<account name>

  • Get file(s) from GRID

    dirac-dms-get-file <LFN> [<LFN>]

  • Copy file to GRID

    dirac-dms-add-file <LFN> <localname> <storage element>
