The trigger system of the CLIC Timepix3-based Telescope does not follow the AIDA-2020 trigger system specification ( link). The differences are at the level of the HDMI connector.

The wires of an HDMI cable (in a case of a brand product) should follow a standard. The colours correspond to the following signals (view from cable side into connector):

  • +clock (10-2)* : red (red-white pair)
  • -clock (12-1)*: white (red-white pair)
  • +control (7-5)* : blue (blue-white pair) --> used for T0 reset
  • -control (9-4)*: white (blue-white pair) --> used for T0 reset
  • +busy (1-6)* : brown (brown-white pair)
  • -busy (3-3)* : white (brown-white pair)
  • +trigger (4-8)* : green (green-white pair)
  • -trigger (6-7)*: white (green-white pair)
