Java Analysis Studio

JAS3 is a generic data analysis tool. In the SiD context it is mainly used to browse LCIO events and display them using a wired plugin. It compiles and runs analysis code using the LCSim framework and features a basic source code editor. JAS3 can also be used to browse and display AIDA files and histograms.

Installation

Download your preferred version here. Untar and add the JAS3 folder to your PATH variable.

Required Plugins

On the first start of JAS3 go to View -> Plugin Manager -> Available -> hep and add the following plugins:
  • add lineracollider -> org.lcsim
  • add visualization -> WIRED4
  • add visualization -> WIRED4baselibrary
  • add visualization -> heprep
  • do NOT add visualization -> lcio
