  • Abstract: The Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) is a high-energy e+e- collider under development, aiming for centre-of-mass energies from a few hundred GeV to 3 TeV. The physics potential of CLIC is currently investigated in full Monte Carlo simulations using realistic detector concepts and including beam induced backgrounds. Results from studies on precision measurements of Higgs and top-quark properties will be presented as well as prospects for searches for New Physics. The physics aims at CLIC set very high precision requirements on the detector performance. Results from cutting edge detector R&D will be shown, for instance on ultra-thin silicon detectors and highly granular calorimeters.
