Note Description of Classes:
  • SiPixelHitResidual functions:
    • beginJob(): reads silicon detector geometry and books histograms (2 TH1D MEs per module, coresponding to detector x & y)
    • analyze():
      • loops over tracks per event;
      • loops over hits per track:
        • takes the hit out & refits the track;
        • calculates the residual distances between the hit & the refit track;
        • fills the residuals into TH1Ds corresponding to the hit module
    • endJob(): outputs the histograms.
