Preparing Site Readiness Tables/Plots

Preparing Site Readiness Tables/Plots for the weekly CompOpsMeeting

  • Each Monday before 3PM CERN / 8AM FNAL Time.

Web Area

  • All the plots go in a directory that is accessible over the web
  • The URL must be stated in the main meeting page. To change the URL:
    • Please go to the meeting page and click on the Raw Edit link placed at the bottom of the page (IMPORTANT: you must use Raw Edit mode, otherwise you may break the page structure!)
    • When you get the raw content editor, you will see the baseurl variable, now, all you need to do is to update the URL there

Site Readiness Plots

Running & Pending Jobs Plots

  1. Run the following script on your local computer:
    • cd [folder where you saved the script]
    • The script will output 20 .png plots to the directory where it was run from.
  2. Upload the files to the dropbox folder with their names as they are.
  3. Make sure you place/update the link of the web area URL in the CompOps Meeting Twiki.

GGUS Ticket Summary

You don't need to do something for the ticket summary. We have an automated script that prepares the ticket table for the meeting page. Of course, before the meeting, you need to check the date below the table to be sure whether or not the script works properly.

Quick Access

Content Path, link, machine name, etc.
User SST members are responsible for the preparation of these plots
AFS Path /afs/ (we are planning to move this directory into our SST machine!)
Machine No need to specify the machine for now. --a web server of the CERN web facility
