MC Requests for 13 TeV Production (Higgs)

The goal of this page is to collect requests for 13 TeV production in CMSSW 6_2_X.

The information on this page is only preliminary and will be used only for production planning.For final info about a sample please browse the production tools PREP

Higgs group

Few important comments:

  • the total budget of the first pilot production can not exceed 50 M events
  • For signal samples please consider only one or few benchmark points and a target lumi of 50 /fb.
  • Inclusive samples will have to be cut to a much lower luminosity

comments:

  • In the past productions, DiPhotonBox and DiPhotonBorn Pythia were produced in bins of ptHat: 10-25, 25-250, 250-inf. That was not particularly useful for the Hgg group, so if they need to be produced only for the Hgg group, we would require a single sample with ptHat>25 GeV, unless there are other drawbacks that we don't know
