PF2PAT is a particle-flow post-processing step, which:
  • starts from the list of PFCandidates reconstructed by the particle flow
  • creates a set of particle-based RECO physics objects from these PFCandidates:
    • particle-flow leptons, with particle-based isolation
    • PFJets
    • PFMET

The PF2PAT sequence should be tuned to the needs of the analysis. The output of PF2PAT can be plugged into PAT directly.
