# Search for supersymmetry in pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV in events with two opposite sign leptons, large number of jets, b-tagged jets, and large missing transverse energy

Abstract : Results are reported from a search for new physics in pp collisions at \sqrt{s} = 8 TeV using a dataset corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 19.7 fb^{-1} collected with the CMS experiment. Events with two opposite sign leptons, a large number of jets, b-tagged jets, and large missing transverse energy are used to search for new physics resulting in multiple top quarks and missing transverse energy in the final state. An entirely data-driven technique is used to estimate the standard model background, and the results are interpreted in the context of a sypersymmetric model in which pair produced gluinos decay to a pair of top quarks and a neutralino.

 Figure 6 : The 95 % CL exclusion limits on the simplified model scenarios. The 95 % CL upper observed cross section limit is shown for different gluino and LSP masses. The final results (exclusion limits) can be found in the .C file containing limit curves and the 95% CL observed cross section, and in the .root file containing the same information, along with a README file with the description of its contents.
