ConfigurableVertexFitter

The ConfigurableVertexFitter is a VertexFitter whose behavior is completely runtime-configurable. Exchanging one algorithm in your analysis for another becomes a matter of changing a line in the config file. Any concrete VertexFitter can be used. Here is a sample cfg file:

The following algorithms are currently available:

  • kalman: The standard Kalman Filter
  • avf: The adaptive vertex fitter

The configurables:

KalmanVertexFitter:

AdaptiveVertexFitter

  double sigmacut =3.0 # "reduced distance" for which a track has a weight of 0.5
  double Tini=256 # initial temperature in the annealing schema
  double ratio=0.25 # annealing ratio
}
