Higgs Analysis Software

Goal

The goal of this page is to describe the specific software that is used in the analysis done in Higgs Physics Group. The main group page is Higgs WG.

Analysis software

The common Higgs analysis software will reside in the HiggsAnalysis package in the CMSSW cvs directory; a description of the package and the related subpackage can be found at Higgs WG software Twiki. Guidelines for code development and configuration file preparation are reported there.

• Logical flow and schema of the H in ZZ analysis are reported here; that analysis is mostly developed in CMSSW by using PhysicsTools and will be adapted soon to use PAT layers 0 and 1.

Related topics

The Higgs WG is using a dedicated PAG DBS instance called cms_dbs_ph_analysis_01 ; samples related to intermediate processing and published in that DBS instance and can be easily analyzed with distributed analysis tools (CRAB).
