Introduction

The Pixel reconstruction software is part of the general CMS track reconstruction code. In this page we highlight the pixel-specific components used to reconstruct pixel hits, seeds as well as pixel only tracks and vertices for HLT selection. Subgroups/Activities

The Pixel offline group coordinates the development and deployment of offline software specific to the CMS Pixel detector.

The group holds regular bi-weekly meetings on mondays at 17:00 CERN time (10:00 FNAL time). No meeting takes place during the CMS Weeks or Tracker Days. Transparencies are available on the Indico web page

The group activities are divided into four sub-tasks. The mandate is to deliver the following components of the Pixel Offline Software:

  1. Pixel simulation in CMSSW
  2. Pixel local reconstruction and high level calibration in CMSSW
  3. Pixel Data Quality Monitoring in CMSSW
  4. Development of new reconstruction algorithms and calibration procedures to cope with ageing effects:
