Goal

The goal of this page is to describe the specific software that is used in analyses done in the Top Physics Analysis Group (TopPAG). The main group page concerned with the organization of the group can be found is CMS.TWikiTopQuark.

Top Quark Analysis Framework (TQAF)

To facilitate access to objects and tools used in the analysis of top quarks the TopPAG provides a common Top Quark Analysis Framework ( TQAF) based on PAT objects. The code resides in the CMSSW/TopQuarkAnalysis system of CMSSW. It comprises several packages to facilitate the analysis reconstruction and interpretation of events containing top antitop quarks. Instructions on how to get started using the TQAF can be found on the SWGuideTQAF#HowTo. Several PAG specific tutorials exsist in the meantime on the CMS indico. To find out more about the Physics Analysis Toolkit (PAT) on which the TQAF relies have a look to the SWGuidePAT.
