2023 geometry scenarios

Functional workflow means, that a job runs without crashes on cmsDriver produced configuration with --geometry option. Everything is in 62X_SLHC IB or in a queue unless mentioned otherwise.

Extended2023

"Baseline" geometry scenario. Full SIM-DIGI-RECO workflow is functional. Replacement for Phase 1 Hcal will be done as soon as one of the Phase II calorimeters is ready. There is no space for ME0 with current Hcal.

Status of runTheMatrix workflows

Workflow numbers are 5 digits, where the first 3 digits correspond to a unique geometry and the last 2 to a particular physics process. Remember that you need the "-w upgrade" command for runTheMatrix, so for example to get QCD_Pt_3000_3500_14TeV (xxx35) in HGCal v6 (132xx) the command would be
runTheMatrix.py -w upgrade -l 13235

If this list becomes out of date, it's possible to get the same information for whatever release you are working with using the command:
