Tracker Material Budget plots

The material budget simulation of the CMS Tracker featuring the Phase 1 Pixel detector is presented. Shown is the breakdown of the total material budget into sub-detectors (TEC, TOB, TIB and TID and Pixel Phase 1). The beam pipe and support tube are also included in the material budget. 100,000 single neutrino gun events are used to compile the plots. The passage of the neutrino through the material of the simulated CMS detector is tracked in Geant4, imaging the material distribution of the detector by plotting, for each step of the neutrino's spatial trajectory, the fraction of the total radiation or hadronic interaction length of its trajectory, traversed in that step.
