Compare Z-positions for all detectors between all 2006 detectors.dat, to check if no error has squeezed in

• Z-positions for all detectors inside every week of 2006 were compared, i.e. files detectors.run.plus.dat and detectors.run.minus.dat.. There is no difference between these files.
  Week 40 contains three groups of files (i.e. 3 different files for plus and 3 different files for minus). There is no difference between files inside each group. Z-positions in the 1st group differ from Z-positions in the 2nd and the 3rd ones. Z-positions in the 2nd and the 3rd groups are the same.
  • comp_W40_W40_Mi52566_Mi52669.dat: difference between W40 (detectors.52566.minus.dat) and W40 (detectors.52669.minus.dat)
  • comp_W40_W40_Mi52566_Mi52858.dat: difference between W40 (detectors.52566.minus.dat) and W40 (detectors.52858.minus.dat)

• Z-positions for all detectors between periods of 2006 were compared.
  W32 was compared with others. Difference was found in W40, W41, W45 and W46.
  Alignment files for other periods are practically the same, i.e. W32=W33=W34=W35=W36=W37=W42=W43=W44.

#Conclusion

Conclusion

Concerning differences inside 2006, they are usually below 5 mm in Z, and we can ignore them.

Concerning 2006/2007 difference, we see mainly the following differences in Z positions:

• DC4+GM01 moved by 1 cm

It is a question to Saclay group. When they installed distant pieces for DC04 (spacers)? If after 2006 run so it's OK.

• FI02 moved by 3.65 cm
• SI01,02,03 have apparently been displaced, and distance between them is different in both years.

Z-positions of these detectors are not fixed exactly and could be changed even from week to week.

Template.opt

• template.opt in W32 was compared with other weeks. There is no difference between W32 and W34. Differences between W32 and other weeks are presented in the attached files below.
  • W32_W33_template.opt: difference between W32 and W33
  • W32_W35_template.opt: difference between W32 and W35
  • W32_W36_template.opt: difference between W32 and W36
