Network Access (Important!)

Only registered computers are allowed to access the CERN network.

Travel and Access

You can find detailed information about how to reach CERN in this page.

You cannot enter CERN site without a CERN access card. CERN access card for registered participants can be collected at:

• Building 33: if you arrive between 8:00 and 18:00 from Monday to Friday
• Gate B: if you arrive between 18:00 and 8:00 or during the week-end (ask the guard)

Meeting Rooms

The following meeting rooms are booked for the meeting:

• Wednesday: 513/1-027
• Thursday: 40/R-D10
• Friday: 40/R-D10

Please note that while building 40 is close to the main entrance (5 min walking), building 513 is a bit more far from the main entrance (15 min walking).

Self-service lunch is available at CERN Restaurant 1 and Restaurant 2. CHF and EUR are accepted. Coffee breaks will be provided by CERN.

Accommodation

You can find accommodation either in one of the several hotels in the area or in the CERN hostel.

Note: If you wish to stay at the CERN hostel please book in advance as the hostel gets full very quickly.
