Only registered computers are allowed to access the CERN network.

Travel and Access

You cannot enter CERN site without a CERN access card. Upon arrival please get your personal CERN access card at:

• If you arrive between 8:00 and 18:00 from Monday to Friday, please get your card in Building 33.
• If you arrive between 18:00 and 8:00 or during the week-end, please get your card in Gate B (ask the guard).

The meeting will be held at CERN Meyrin Site.

Meeting rooms:

• Main sessions: 600-R-001
• Parallel sessions: 600-R-002
• Additional meeting room: 513-1-023 (Tuesday AM, Wednesday AM, Thursday PM)

Lunch:

• Self-service lunch is available at CERN Restaurant 2
• Euros and Swiss Francs are accepted

Directions to 600-R-001:

• blue circle: meeting room - Building 600
• orange circle: reception - Building 33
• pink circle: entrance - Gate B (last stop of bus 56)
• red line: shortest path from CERN hostels
• yellow line: shortest path from reception/entrance B

Accommodation

You can find accommodation either in one of the several hotels of the area or in the CERN hostel.

If you book a room at the CERN Hostel, please pick up your key at:

• If you arrive between 8:00 and 18:00 from Monday to Friday, get your CERN access card and go to the CERN Hostel Reception in Building 39.
• If you arrive between 18:00 and 8:00 or during the week-end, get your room key at Building 120 together with the access card.
