The CASTOR SRM subsystem dev page

Purpose

This page tracks the development activities for the Castor SRM interface.

Dev setup

• 4 virtual nodes, running last and last-but-one versions of the software in both SLC4 and SLC5. No 32bit node is run.
  • CDB clusters: srmcert1 to srmcert4

• 2 physical nodes, 8 cores and 16 GB of RAM each, running last version for stress tests. Currently lxbrb2910 and lxbrl2704, subject to change.
  • CDB cluster: srmcert5

Package dependencies

Castor SRM2 versions up to 2.10 are currently certified for SLC4/x86_64 and SLC5/x86_64, version 2.11 and above are only certified for SLC5/x86_64. Direct and indirect dependencies are as follows:
