lcgdm-devel
lcg-infosites
lcg_util-py25
lcg_util-py26

Platforms

The packages in the AA area should be built in SL5/32bits and SL5/64bits. In case on of the platform is missing, inform Stefan Roisser and ask the relevant developer to provide a build as soon as possible.

Steps

When a new version arrives, please follow these steps (you need a machine, no matter which platform):

  1. Checkout from CVS the glite-release module.
  2. Check in cert-glite-AA the new versions of the affected packages.
  3. Edit config.sh to change GLITE_RELEASE="3.2"
  4. Create a file, i.e. /tmp/aa_aux, only with the entries in cert-glite-AA that are new.
  5. Run the script: ./scripts/update-aa-grid-area -l /tmp/aa_aux
  6. Check in /afs/.cern.ch/sw/lcg/external/Grid that the new versions have been installed.
  7. Wait until /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/external/Grid/ (read only) is synchronised.
  8. Update the RSS feed by running: ./scripts/updateAANotification  /afs/.cern.ch/sw/lcg/external/Grid/3.2/latest-requirements cert-lists/3.2/cert-glite-AA
  9. Check in http://grid-deployment.web.cern.ch/grid-deployment/glite/aa-updates.rss that the feeds are properly updated.
