BDII Testplan

The purpose of this document is to give a detailed list of tests that should be performed to the BDII after a patch has been issued and before going to pre-production.

Top level BDII

1. Check if the BDII is running.
2. Check if the BDII is able to answer queries.
3. Make the BDII request all the information of site level BDIIs in production.
4. Check if the BDII contains the same information as other top level BDII.

Site level BDII

1. Check if the BDII is running.
2. Insert example information in the BDII (for both GLUE 1.3 and GLUE 2.0 schemas).
3. Check if the BDII is able to answer queries for the information provided.
4. Configure a top level BDII to request information from the site level BDII and check if both informations are the same.

Resource BDII

The resource level BDII testplan is provided as an example.

1. Check if the BDII is running.
2. Insert example information in the BDII (for both GLUE 1.3 and GLUE 2.0 schemas).
3. Check if the BDII is able to answer queries for the information provided.
