Log of the testbed activities installation reinstallation upgrade

• 4th Sept, (2pm) - Testbed upgrade with all patch passing the Xen step.

• 3rd Aug, (4:00pm) - The DPM LFC services is reinstallation testing mode.

• 10 jul, 11.45 - Installation of Line2 from scratch started - Gergo

• 7 jul 2006 (11:00) : Impossible to have a Dcache installation from scratch working (since the 29).

• 29 jun 2006 (11:00) : Repository upgrade finish.

• 29 jun 2006 (10:20) : Test result reveal 2 problems. The gliteCE does not work. and The dcache client that correct bug https://savannah.cern.ch/bugs/index.php?func=detailitem&item_id=17517 has not been upgrade. Tequest to redo the repository done to upgrade dcache client.

• 28 jun 2006 (17:30) : Upgrade finish.
  • SFT runs OK. Testbed is ready to test

• 28 jun 2006 (14:57) : Testbed un-upgradable cause of the package : glite-CE (the content has change not the version) so all nodes upgrade between 27 jun 2006 (14:23) to 28 jun 2006 (14:17) when the BUG #17817 was present are not upgradable because the version of the meta pkg has not been change but the content. Apt or yum cannot handle that.

• 28 jun 2006 (14:17) : Repository ready. Reinstall and upgrade start.

• 28 jun 2006 (11:36) : Solution provide by the develloper to the integration team.

• 27 jun 2006 (18:00) : Testbed finish to configure but errors found during the configuration on gliteCE.

• 27 jun 2006 (14:23) : Repository ready we can restart.

• 27 jun 2006 (11:00) : Impossible to install UI and WN cause of a dep problem,

• 27 jun 2006 (10:00) : Start of the update.

• 26 jun 2006 (17:50) : certification repository ready. System ready to update.

• 26 jun 2006 (10:46:29) : request for gLite 3.0.1-cert

• 31 May 2006 (16:52) : End of the reinstallation.

• 30 May 2006 (9:44am) : Certification new YAIM start. Upgrade / reinstall from scratch of 1 WMS and 1 gliteCE. Few configuration problems found. A new update arrive tommorow.

• 22 May 2006 (4:40pm) : Upgrade/reinstalltion done.

• 19 May 2006 (4:40pm) : Repository is now ready. reinstallation from scratch of line 2.

• 19 May 2006 (2:00pm) : A showstopper problem apear on the integration. Manual fix require for the upgrade of RB.

• 18 May 2006 (4:00pm) : Start of the upgrade of 1a, 1b.

• 27 April 2006 (7:10 pm) : Upgrade finish.
  • SFT runs OK. Testbed is ready to test

• 2 May 2006 (2:OO pm) : Upgrade DPM / LFCS.

• 27 April 2006 (7:00 pm) : reinstallation and upgrade finish.
  • SFT runs OK. Testbed is ready to test

• 28 April 2006 (2:30 pm) : Started reinstallation from scratch of line 2 and upgrade 1a, 1b.

• 27 April 2006 (7:30 pm) : reinstallation and upgrade finish.
  • SFT runs OK. Testbed is ready to test

• 27 April 2006 (3:00 pm) : Started reinstallation from scratch of line 2 and upgrade 1a, 1b.

• 25 April 2006 (3:45 pm) : Line 2 reinstalaltion from scratch finish.
  • SFT runs OK. Testbed is ready to test

• 24 April 2006 (1:46 pm) : the problem has been solved. End of the upgrade of 1a 1b. Reinstallation from scratch line 2 start.
• 24 April 2006 (11:30 am) : Update rejected due to dependency problems.

• 21 April 2006 (5:50 pm) : End of the upgrade of lines 1a and 1b of the Cert Testbed.
  • One problem found during glite-CE configuration Bug : 16346
  • SFT runs OK. Testbed is ready to test

• 21 April 2006 (3:45 pm) : Started upgrade of lines 1a and 1b of the Cert Testbed.
• 21 April 2006 (03:44 pm) : Received update from integration

• 11 April 2006 (2:27pm): Reconfiguration of lxb1765 UI, Lponcet.

• 10 April 2006 (3:00pm): lxb1909 (LFC) used to finalise FTS configuration, Gergely Debreczeni

• 10 April 2006 (2:00pm): Testing Finshed
  • Three problems found.

• 7 April 2006 (2:00 pm) : Full upgrade of the Cert Testbed.
  • SFT runs OK. Testbed is ready to test

• 7 April 2006 (07:50 am) : Received update from integration

• 6 April 2006 (3:00 pm) : Finishing of the Upgrade & reinstalltion from scratch of line 2.
  • SFT runs OK. Testbed is ready to test.

• 5 April 2006 (15:10 pm) : Received update from integration.

• 6 April 2006 (7:15 pm) : Finishing of the Upgrade & reinstalltion from scratch of line 2.
  • SFT runs OK. Testbed is ready to test.
