Based on work done by
DiQing in 2008 and published at
CREAMTest, a request has been made to provide a similar environment to perform similar tests with current cream releases.
Architecture
- Physical Cream CE (creaben-ce -- lxbrf2712) - SLC5_64
- Hypervisor1
- Torque Server (creaben-torque)
- LB (creaben-lb)
- UI (creaben-ui)
- 2 WNs (to provide a minimal testbed) - 2 cores each - 4 job slots (creaben-wn01 -> creaben-wn02)
- [optional] managment / monitoring node if separate from normal testbed
- Hypervisor2
- 32 WNs with 2 cores each. (64 Job slots) (creaben-wn03 -> creaben-wn34)
- Hypervisor3 [OPTIONAL]
- 32 WNs with 2 cores each. (64 Job slots) (creaben-wn35 -> creaben-wn66)
Giving a total of 4 / 68 / 132 job slots depending on number of WN-hypervisors in operation.
Unless otherwise stated, the machines will be running SL5x / x86_64 with the current linux patches and updates.
The machines will be based on a minimal install - no X11 or development tools by default.
