LFC (LHC File Catalog)	A secure file and replica catalog mapping logical file names to physical replicas of the file. Supports full POSIX namespace with secure Grid access. Command line tools and libraries

GFAL library	An application utility library providing POSIX-like access to Grid storage resources and access to grid catalog information		In production on all User Interface nodes and Worker Nodes. Used by many VOs and their applications.
lcg-utils	A command-line tool providing Storage functions and synchronous replica management functions (copy, delete, register)		In production on all User Interface nodes and Worker Nodes. Used by many VOs.
