gLite and MATLAB® Integration
EGEE and the NA4 activity are in close collaboration with
The MathWorks™
in an effort to integrate the popular MATLAB® Parallel Computing Toolbox™ with gLite. This will give the opportunity to applications to take advantage of the combined power of MATLAB and the EGEE grid. A first level of integration has already been achieved and currently a number of selected applications are exploring the capabilities of this solution in the context of a 6-month trial period. MATLAB Distributed Computing Server™ is available from 2 production sites in EGEE. The following support material is available for the users and grid site administrators currently exploiting the grid-enabled MATLAB toolbox.
Users
- Parallel Computing with MATLAB on EGEE cluster - Users Guide (Windows, Linux/Mac)
- Hands-on examples (zip)
- gLite/MATLAB integration configuration files (MATLAB R2008a)
Developers
Site Administrators
- Administrator's Guide for installing MATLAB server on a gLite site (doc)
